DSS Vs Ifeanyi Ubah: Court To Rule On Jurisdiction May 25

A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has fixed may 25 to rule on whether it has jurisdiction to hear the suit involving the Chairman, Capital Oil and Gas Limited, Ifeanyi Ubah, and the Department of State Security (DSS).

Justice Idris Mohammed adjourned the matter for ruling after hearing lawyers to the DSS and the NNPC make a case for the matter to be transferred to Abuja.

Meanwhile, employees of capital oil who thronged the court on Thursday urged the Federal Government to intervene and release their boss.

They say the crisis has led to the shutdown of business operations and over 2,000 workers are currently on the verge of losing their jobs.

Justice Idris had on Friday last week adjourned the matter till today, May 18, after the DSS failed to produce Mr Ubah in court.
