Suicide bomber storms University of Maiduguri

Three suicide bombers were killed early Saturday morning as they attempted to gain access into the Department of Works, University of Maiduguri in Borno State.

The incident occurred at 1.10am, Saturday.

And security guard at the University was also killed by the explosions.

Meanwhile, the corpses have been evacuated by rescuers from the National Emergency Management Agency and the Borno State Emergency Management Agency, 

​T​he university authorities and security agencies ​are expected to​ provide more updates on the attack.

The University Public Relations Office, Ahmed Mohammed, said  

“I was told about the bomb blast, but I am still working on it to ascertain the degree of damage. It is very unfortunate.” Ahmed said.
